Restaurant and bar fit out for The Galleon Inn
Bar refresh, bespoke banquette seating and wall panelling for one of Fowey's best-known pubs. Full project delivered in a two-week window during the pub's winter shutdown.
The Brief
The Galleon Inn is one of Fowey’s most well-known and well-loved pubs, and when it came time for a refresh, the brief was to make a meaningful improvement to the space without losing what made it special. The scope covered a full redecoration throughout, a refreshed bar, new bespoke banquette seating and new wall panelling, all to be completed during the pub’s winter shutdown.
With just two weeks to turn the project around before reopening, there was no margin for delay.
The Solution
We manufactured the bespoke banquette seating and wall panelling in our Redruth workshop ahead of time, so that when we got on site we could focus on installation rather than fabrication. Working closely with the designers throughout, we ensured every element landed exactly as intended, while managing the decorating contractors on site alongside our own team.
Two weeks is a tight window for a project of this scope, but with the right preparation and the right people, we delivered on time and handed the keys back to a pub its owners were proud to reopen.
