Full interior fit-out for Falmouth's home of Cornish wine, beer and spirits. Bespoke bar counters, wine shelving and banquette seating, manufactured in our Redruth workshop and installed as main contractor.
The Brief
Kernowine is Falmouth’s home for Cornish wine, beer, cider and spirits, a bar and retail space on Killigrew Street built around a simple ethos: sustainable, ethical and local. Owner Derek Crookes had a clear vision for the space, and needed a contractor who could deliver the full fit-out and bring it to life.
The Solution
Appointed as main contractor for the full fit-out, we worked in close collaboration with the interior designer throughout, ensuring every practical decision served the design intent. We manufactured the bespoke bar counters, wine shelving and banquette seating in our Redruth workshop, ensuring the quality and finish matched the ambition of the brand, while coordinating flooring, tiling, decorating, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm works across the wider build.
With a single point of contact managing every trade and a direct line to the designer, Derek could focus on getting his business ready to open while we took care of everything on site. The result is a space that feels considered and characterful, a proper Cornish bar built to showcase the best of what Cornwall produces.
